 Dr. Katie Hareid

Dr. Katie Hareid

Dr. Katie Hareid has a passion for people! She says, "As a dentist, I get to see my patients pretty regularly, so I get to know them. I enjoy being able to 'catch up' with them and hear how things are going in their lives."

She is passionate about being a cosmetic dentist, enjoying the mix of science and art that dentistry requires. She combines her skills with her creativity to deliver smiles that patients can be proud of and feel good about.

Dr. Hareid graduated from Northern Arizona University with a BS in microbiology. She then attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, where she received her DDS. She began practicing after completing a general practice residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. She purchased Fox Valley Dental Center in January of 2023 and is honored to carry on the long-standing tradition of excellence that her predecessor, Dr. Perry Menos, started over 40 years ago.

When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Hareid has several interests, including being outdoors, gardening, learning to golf, spending time with her dogs Sigi and Lulu, and running. She also enjoys exploring Wisconsin on day trips or weekend getaways with her husband. A fun fact about Dr. Hareid is that she's completed ten full marathons!

When she's not at the dental office, Karen enjoys crafting, gardening flowers, scrapbooking, flower arranging, and spending time in the sun. A fun fact about Karen is that she secretly wants a Highland cow!

Kelly

Front Desk

Kelly brings two decades of comprehensive dental experience to Fox Valley Dental Center, where she seamlessly bridges the front and back office to ensure every patient receives exceptional care. Her passion for helping patients achieve healthy smiles stems from her own positive childhood experiences with her Milwaukee dentist, Dr. Chenoweth, who showed her that dental visits could actually be enjoyable.

Kelly received her training at Kansas City College of Dental Careers and has built an impressive 20-year career in dentistry. What makes Kelly's perspective unique is her full-circle career path. She started as a dental assistant back in 1987 and has held many roles throughout the years. Now, she primarily works at the front desk while also providing chairside assistance as needed, giving her an invaluable understanding of every aspect of patient care.

When she's not helping patients achieve their healthiest smiles, Kelly enjoys an active lifestyle that includes hiking with her dog Ruby, practicing yoga regularly, and diving into a good book. She also keeps traditional crafting arts alive through cross-stitching, crocheting, and knitting, hobbies that reflect her patient, detail-oriented nature that serves her so well in dentistry.
